Research progress on the machanism of high-temperature seedling-plant resistance to stripe rust in wheat

On August 12, 2022, the crop disease and pest monitoring and management team of Northwest A&F University published online in the journal The Plant Journal entitled "A Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici effector inhibits the high-temperature seedling-plant resistance in wheat ". This study revealed the regulatory role of the cytoplasmic receptor-like kinase TaRIPK-mediated guard model in wheat stripe rust resistance at high temperature, and elucidated the molecular mechanism of stripe rust response to host high temperature disease resistance. Professor Hu Xiaoping is the corresponding author of the paper, graduated Ph.D. Hu Yangshan is the first author of the paper, master students Su Chang, Zhang Yue, Professor Shang Hongsheng, Associate Professor Li Yuxiang and Professor Xianming Chen from Washington State University participated in this work.image.png
