Research progress on diversity of Fusarium diversity and mycotoxin accumulation in Fusarium head blight

On July 17, 2022, the research team published a research paper entitled "Diversity of Fusarium Community Assembly Shapes Mycotoxin Accumulation of Diseased Wheat Heads" online in the journal Molecular Ecology. This study revealed the diversity of Fusarium populations on a single diseased head of wheat in major wheat regions in my country, and further analyzed the relationship between the diversity of Fusarium on diseased heads and the accumulation of toxins. Professor Hu Xiaoping is the corresponding author of the paper, young scientist Wang Qiang is the first author of the paper, master student Song Rui, associate professor Fan Sanhong of the School of Life Sciences, professor Jeffrey Coleman of Auburn University, and professor Xu Xiangming of the NIAB EMR also participated in this work .
