From October 25 to November 3, 2024, Professor Xu Xiangming, Vice President of the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (UK) and Director of the Dongmaolin Research Institute, visited the research group. During this period, Dr. Xu gave lectures to graduate students of the College of Plant Protection, and gave a course lecture on the progress of plant protection research titled "Crop Protection"; at the same time, he investigated various diseases of apple trees in new and old orchards in Baishui, Shaanxi; for Teachers and students of the College of Plant Protection gave an academic report titled "Research on Gene Expression of Rice in Response to Beneficial Microorganisms" and had a full discussion with the teachers and students who participated. During the visit, we held discussions with students from the stripe rust group, Fusarium group, and Verticillium wilt group, and provided one-to-one guidance on the experimental design of the students' graduation thesis.
