Recently, Dr. Nobuhiro Suzuki from Okayama University in Japan, Dr. Marion Clavel and Dr. Marco Incarbone from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Germany, Dr. Jun-Yi Yang from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan region, and Dr. Salaipeth Lakha from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi in Thailand visited our university. A symposium was held at Conference Room in the College of Plant Protection. The meeting was hosted by Vice Dean Jing Xiangfeng, and attended by representatives of the college's faculty.
Jing welcomed the delegation led by Prof. Suzuki and introduced the college's historical evolution and achievements, focusing on faculty strength, talent cultivation, scientific research, and results. Experts attending the meeting introduced their team's main research directions and recent scientific progress respectively. During the exchange session, everyone discussed cutting-edge and hot topics in plant pathology research. The meeting reached a consensus on student exchanges and visits, as well as joint applications for international cooperation projects.
